NOTD- OPI DS Original and guest nails

A few weeks ago I won another giveaway on the awsome L.'s blog, Bright Lights, Big Color.  I will try and get pictures of the goodies for you!  I decided to try OPI DS Original first, since I love holos. Unfortunately, I was only able to get one picture in the sun, because it has started to rain again....

Sorry it is not the best, but it shows some of the gorgeous holo-ness!!  I will try and get better pictures soon.  I love this polish, but it is sheer.  I may try it over black or purple, I heard it was pretty that way!

TO make up for the crappy NOTD picture, I have some guest nails for you.  She will not be commenting on them herself, because her typing is bad and her spelling is not the best...  (that's because she is 4, you guys!!)  Today's guest nails are none other than The Princess!!  She loves having her nails done, and she is very particular about making sure her toes match, LOL.  Usually, she chooses pink or purple, but this time she opted for OPI Ogre the Top Blue:

Lesson for the day...

What I learned today:  DO NOT let your husband give your three year old a milkshake right before bedtime!!  Bedtime for the Princess is 9:00 PM- it is now 11:25 PM and guess who is still awake??  She is running on sugar and does not want to sleep...  Oh, well- I wasn't going to bed right now anyway.  I hope she isn't up too much longer though.  I have been up since 6:45 AM and didn't sleep all that well last night...

Non nail polish post for the day....

I felt like doing a random post, bear with me!!  This will probably be ramble-y!!

The Princess is on her 3rd or 4th outfit for the day and bouncing on the sofa like a madwoman- I swear I haven't given her sugar!!  She changes her clothes more than anyone I have ever met- I can't figure it out... I am still in my jammies- didn't feel like getting dressed today, LOL!   I have a girly girl.  How in the heck did that happen?  I don't wear make up, rarely will you see me in a skirt.  I do wear jewelry- my wedding rings and a ring Mr. Ski gave me, a cool wish necklace my mom gave me for Christmas (here is a link to it- it is neat! )  and if I am actually leaving the house, I will add another necklace and my watch.  Sometimes I even add earrings- I have 3 piercings in each ear though- that's alot of earrings!  The Princess, however, loves pink, wears dresses and plays dress up, wants her nails done as much as I do mine, and wants to be a ballerina...  go figure!

Does anyone else watch Lost?  I have just started to watch it again, and I am confused already... sigh....

Anyway, like I said, ramble-y!  I need to get on the ball and do some things around the house, but I am not feeling it today.  For some reason, my headache is back, and my back hurts.  Just a little background on my back issues, I have herniated disks in my back and a rotated sacrum.  I have also fractured my tailbone twice- one when I was a teen and fell off a skateboard, and once in childbirth- Ski Jr.  Back in October, I had Bi-lateral S.I. injections, but they are starting to wear off...  ugh.  After those injections, I was pain free for the first time in 12 years, so I think they are worth it, they just hurt like heck!  Oh, well... just need to suck it up and call the doctor to get them again.

That's all the ramble I will subject y'all to for now, but I want you guys to tell me something about you!! I want to know more about the people who pay attention to my little blog! : )

Blah......

I am feeling kind of blech today, and I am not sure why....  I think it is because I didn't sleep all that well last night, and had to get up a bit earlier than usual to babysit.  I babysit a friend's one year old son Monday through Thursday while he goes to school, but this morning he dropped him off earlier than usual.  Oh well... maybe I will try to go to bed earlier tonight.  I guess that all depends on the Princess, though!

On another note, The Princess has been using the potty for almost a week with no accidents!  I may finally be diaper free!!!

I am going to change my mani later tonight as well, and I will post pictures of it- I promise!
